| As a Montreal Canadiens fan I have a tonne of great players that I could list for this discussion, but having been born in 1971 I had the opportunity to watch the habs during the Guy Lafleur era and he gets my vote for sure! The guy was so explosive watching him doing his end to end rushes and the guy had a shot that made goalies shake in the goalie pads! If you check out the career stats and milestones that this guy achieved, hes got to be right up as one of the best - regardless of team or era - of all time. | ||

| NYI_fan 2010-01-19 11:54:13 Being a New York Islander fan my whole life, Mike Bossy is definitely my fave all time. Though Bossys career was way too short, the way he played during his time with the Islanders was absolutely amazing. |
| smashmouth 2010-01-20 15:01:29 Dougie Gilmour - Toronto Maple Leafs (1992 - 1997) |
| hockeydude 2010-02-17 11:48:59 Both Bossy and Gilmour are excellent choices but as a kid I grew as a Canadiens fan watching Guy Lafleur, and he was awesome to watch!! So my nod goes to Guy Lafleur. |
